Thank you very much I don't really think it's realistic it's realish I guess. I stopped at the point where I would usually add a lot more shading which I can't do anymore since I gave this pic away. It's just the most accurate and detailed pic I've done for freehand.

I only worked on this picture when I had a lot of focus so sometimes I might have worked on it 20mins and then left it but I have probably spent 24-30 hours on it maybe 35 hours but I think it was easily less. I had no deadline so I took my sweet time I would look at certain parts like the hair many times over before even making a stroke and initially the stroke would be very light until I was more confident. I skip around like a jigsaw puzzle comparing and connecting more and more parts until it becomes much easier. I spend most of the time on the shape and outline and once that is done the rest is not too much trouble. That's about it. Very good pencils and sharpeners and rubbers and many years of drawing. I think I could easily be more realistic if I did not do it freehand and added a lot more shading but I'd rather not focus so much on realism and more on the interpretation which might seem just as real just not accurate which is all I was trying to do here to prove to myself pretty much. Yikes the time lol and thanks again :)

WOW! I still think it is amazing. I mean yeah, years of work and taking your time sure does help but there is a LOT of skill involved too.
